MiB Television is now available on Apple and Android.
Mr. Tapash BARUA, Chairman and Co-Owner of the channel, as well as our honorable Vice-President, presented to the French Bangladeshi community the new application during a launching ceremony held on March 27th, 2022.
On March 27th, 2022, in a northern Parisian ceremony center, Mr. Tapash BARUA, our honorable Vice-President also Chairman and Co-Owner of MiB Television, unveiled the new application (available for both Apple and Android devices).
Present were representative of the French Bangladeshi community, especially Mr. Kazi Enayet ULLAH “Inu”, Mrs. Jana MARTIN, Mr. Selim Bhai, Momin Bhai, Saleh Bhai, other leaders of various social and cultural organizations and many community members who contributed to MiB Television success.
Launched in 2014, MiB Television is one of the rare Web Tv having a license from the French government.
Under the direction of Mr. Faisal Ahmed DWIP, the Managing Director, MiB Television gained popularity among Bangladeshi’s diaspora all around the world and is often quoted by established Bangladesh’s national news outlets.
The original MiB Television’s aim of building bridges and contributing to a healthy society, was reached if the number of regular viewers is any indication.
With an average of 10 000 viewers, some shows and special events saw the numbers pass 200 000 viewers.
Some of those events had the following guests:
- Mr. Shamim OSMAN, Member of Parliament
- Mr. Zainul Abdin FARROQUE, former opposition whip
- Mr. Sarwar ALAM, executive magistrate, and legal officer of the famous Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), known for his anti-corruption actions.
- Mr. Nurul HAQ NUR, vice president of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU)
The past years saw numerous special events held in its studios in Paris, that consolidated MiB Television into the hearts of the viewers, and a growing in-house investigative reporting is now part of the programming schedule.
